From Budapest to the World
It began in the underground clubs of Budapest. Mick Yard found his voice not in the traditional folk of his homeland, but in the dusty vinyl records of Muddy Waters and BB King. He didn't just learn the notes; he learned the struggle.
By twenty, he had crossed the Atlantic with nothing but a battered Stratocaster and a vision. In the US, he honed his craft in the juke joints of the South and the neon-lit stages of the Midwest.
Today, the Mick Yard Band represents the culmination of that journey—a sound that is authentically American yet unmistakably international. It's the blues as it was meant to be: visceral, honest, and undeniably powerful.
